Tips in Mounting SMT or Through Hole Component like IC, Diode, Resistor etc.

Tips in Mounting semiconductor part in the Printed Circuit Board :

1. Prepare the tools that you need in mounting parts like , tweezers, leads, tip cleaner etc.
2. Don't forget to wear ESD preventive devices like wrist-strap & Gown.
3. Always wear or use proper PPE " Protective Equiment like goggles, to protect your eyes & fume extractor.
4. Pre-heat the soldering iron with recommended heat settings 340 C - 370 C .
5. Always follow correct polarity for IC, diode mounting since these are active parts that can cause more damage to the board when powered, if these parts are mounted incorrect.
6. Always verify correct IC or device to install.
7. You can use Flux in soldering to have a better results and to prevent cold solder.
