How to learn to Repair or Troubleshoot

     
  First thing you need to learn is to know what are the basics like Ohms law etc.., start on knowing basic parts of the circuit like resistors, diode or capacitors etc., know there rules in running circuit. try to improve your circuit analytical skills by reading some tutorials online.

Know soldering, di-soldering for SMT" surface mounted technology " and through hole semiconductor part.

Learn the importance of ESD preventive equipments & proper PPE for safety.

 After knowing the basics, you must know how to use/operate some equipments like Digital or Analog Multimeter, Scope etc.. this is important since, this equipment help you in your decision making in time of troubleshooting faulty PCB board.


" For me, troubleshooting faulty PCB board   make me feel like I'm a detective try know what happens, knowing the rootcauses of the problems by analyzing it.
